Purchasing/Personnel Department provides the following services:
° Accepts applications for employment
° Maintains all employee personnel files
° Handles all personnel matters
° Coordinates employee insurance matters
° Coordinates all city insurance matters with insurance agent
° Procurement of materials, supplies, equipment and services at the lowest possible cost
° Promote fair dealings which ensure that Calumet City taxpayers receive the maximum value for every expenditure
