Instructions for residents:
- Please rake leaves into a neat pile at the end of your parkway for leaf vacuum pick-up
- If you decide to bag your leaves, please place leaf bags at the end of your parkway
- Leaf piles and leaf bags should only contain leaves and be kept free of any contaminants •
(wood, plastic, metal, bricks, rocks, grass clippings, etc.) - Leaves left on the curb or in the street will not be collected and may clog City sewer drains
Residents with questions should call Calumet City’s Public Works Department at (708) 891-8160.
If residents witness a landscaper dumping yard waste illegally, immediately report it to the Building and Zoning Department at (708) 891-8120.
SCHEDULED PICK-UP DAYS:
MONDAY: Between State Line Rd. & Wentworth Ave.
TUESDAY: Between Wentworth Ave. & Burnham Ave.
WEDNESDAY: Between Burnham Ave. & Torrence Ave.
THURSDAY: Between Torrence Ave. & Stoney Island
FRIDAY: From River Oaks Drive to 167th St./the river
