Forest Preserve aims for September 21 course reopening
River Oaks Golf Course will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday, September 7 while the irrigation system undergoes repairs. The repairs are intended to improve both playability and aesthetics at the course. The course is expected to reopen on Monday, September 21. Nearby Forest Preserves Of Cook County golf courses Joe Lewis “The Champ” and Burnham Woods remain open for tee times.
