Pace Implements Safe Boarding Policy, Waives Fares During Stay at Home Order

CALUMET CITY, IL (April 9, 2020) – To help stop the spread of COVID-19 and limit operator-passenger interaction, Pace implemented today a temporary “Quick Board, Safe Board” policy and waive fare collection on fixed route bus and ADA paratransit service beginning Thursday, April 9, and lasting the duration of the Governor’s Stay at Home order.

Please do your part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Limit travel to essential trips (such as doctor’s visits or grocery shopping), practice social distancing, wash your hands, cover your coughs, and stay home if you are sick.  Passengers are encouraged to board and take their seats as quickly as possible.
