The Calumet City Fire Department will be conducting fire hydrant testing through the end of June. Hydrant testing may cause a slight discoloration in your water and is easily resolved by allowing your water to run for a minute or so. Fire hydrant testing and maintenance is an extremely important activity as allows your fire department to ensure they are prepared for fire emergencies. We appreciate your patience.
