The Firefighter Entry Test date has been confirmed for July 24, 2021, with a mandatory orientation on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. The applications are available for pick up from the Clerk’s Office from June 21, 2021 through July 2, 2021. The cost per application will remain $20.00. The applications will be delivered to the Clerk’s Office on June 18, 2021, and the process will remain the same as in the past. The Board of Fire and Police commissioners consists of three (3) members. The members of the fire and police commissioners shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the City Council. The members of the Board shall have the qualifications provided by state law.
The regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is the first Monday of the month.
