Parks and Recreation
Calumet Memorial Park District administers quality, safe and fun programs and events for Calumet City as well as the Village of ‘Burnham. The parks include tot lots, ball fields, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, a skate park, and meeting facilities. The newly constructed Fun Center includes a splash pad, batting cages, driving range cage and miniature golf course. Programs are available for infants to seniors.

The Green Lake Family Aquatic Center is the newest recreational opportunity located in a forest preserve setting. The Forest Preserve District of Cook County offer this outdoor water park which includes, a splash pool with water cannons, drop buckets, climbing features, mini water slide and lazy river for families with children 12 years of age and younger.
Admission: $5.00 per person
Ages 4-12 – $3.00 per person
